Located at Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte, OR, W-P-G consults with public and private employers, law firms, associations, and non-profit clients throughout the northwest providing expert witness services, HR and workplace practices consulting, labor relations support, workplace investigations, executive search services, and compensation program consulting. Randy Stedman, W-P-G's founding principal has served as CHRO and executive committee member of several large organizations in both the public and private sectors. He also has been a member of the Oregon State Bar Association since 1989 and has both private practice and in-house counsel experience.*
W-P-G has extensive experience in providing expert witness case review, case consulting and trial testimony in the civil litigation of employment law cases that involve discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, ADA, negligence, HR policies and procedures, compensation, risk management and other human resources matters. We appear in meritorious cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendents.
W-P-G also has deep expertise in public sector labor relations and contract negotiations, having served as chief negotiator in many contract negotiations, drafted several collective bargaining agreements, written hundreds of memorandums of understanding, and developed long-range and tactical labor relations strategies, both for union engagement and union avoidance.
As human capital strategists, W-P-G assists clients in designing and implementing workplace practices that enhance engagement and minimize liability in both union and non-union settings, but preserve operating flexibility for managers.
In addition, W-P-G frequently is referred by outside counsel to help clients investigate and resolve workplace complaints or disputes. We also provide support for executives responsible for workplace practices who simply want a sounding board with decades of executive-level human resources and labor relations executive experience.
To help ensure strategic priorities become reality, W-P-G occasionally undertakes interim executive and executive search assignments in which W-P-G principals have subject matter expertise. And, we have assisted clients advance their legislative agendas regarding labor relations policy.
